A business built around a particular occasion

BaliBabe sells bridal and bachelorette gifts and accessories in Bali. Its public shop includes clothing, bags, sunglasses and tumblers. The niche creates two related discovery journeys: people looking for a specific item and people collecting ideas for a celebration. Analytics can help distinguish those audiences without assuming that every visit becomes an order.

Social discovery brought a larger engaged audience

Organic Social generated 133 sessions in June–August, compared with 99 in March–May. Engaged social sessions increased from 50 to 79, a 58% rise. The engagement rate increased from 50.51% to 59.4%. Together, these figures show more recorded social visits and more visits meeting GA4’s engagement criteria. They do not identify which post, creator or campaign produced the change.

Search volume was stable; recorded time increased

Organic Search generated 72 sessions compared with 71, with 40 engaged sessions compared with 39. Average engagement time per search session rose from 24 seconds to 2 minutes 16 seconds. That longer recorded time is interesting, but the audience is small and an average can be influenced by a few long visits. The finding supports further page-level investigation rather than a claim of broad SEO growth.

Read engagement alongside the overall traffic decline

Total sessions decreased 11.17%, from 555 to 493. Direct visits fell from 373 to 271, while all-channel engaged sessions increased from 155 to 213. The useful story is therefore a change in the composition and recorded engagement of the audience. The selected report recorded zero key events and zero revenue in both periods, so it cannot substantiate additional orders or sales.

A practical next measurement step

For a gift retailer, the next review should connect social and search landing pages with product views, basket activity and completed orders. Product availability, delivery information and occasion-specific navigation are sensible areas to examine. These are proposed next steps based on the business model and report; they are not a record of work that caused the observed figures.

HOW TO READ THESE RESULTS

Measurement context.

Analytics reviewed in Anu’s signed-in GA4 session on 11 September 2026. Both comparison periods contain 92 days. The report uses Session primary channel group (Default Channel Group).

Sessions are visits, not unique people. Key events are configured Analytics events and are not necessarily distinct enquiries or purchases. No sales or lead increase is asserted without validated event evidence.

Analytics alone does not establish tracking continuity, seasonality or which marketing work caused a change. Recommendations in this profile describe future investigation, not verified services delivered.
