A local business with several different customer needs

Best Gate & Fence serves residential and commercial customers in New Jersey, with fences, gates, railings and gate automation among its public services. Someone comparing a residential fence has a different enquiry from a business looking for controlled access. A useful local-search review needs to keep those service needs visible.

What the comparison actually shows

Organic Search accounted for 200 recorded sessions during June–August, compared with 312 during March–May. Engaged organic sessions fell from 208 to 117. Both periods contain 92 days. These figures establish a recorded search audience and a quarter-on-quarter decline; they do not support an increase in organic traffic.

Engagement and the wider channel mix

The organic engagement rate was 58.5%, down from 66.67%, while average engagement time per organic session was 44 seconds compared with 40 seconds. Across all channels, sessions decreased from 645 to 550. Direct traffic increased from 285 to 302, so the movement in the total is different from the movement in search. Channel-level analysis keeps that distinction visible.

From visits to service enquiries

The report recorded zero key events and zero revenue in both periods. That does not establish that the business received no enquiries: phone calls, forms and offline conversations may be unmeasured. It means this report cannot provide a reliable lead total. A next review should verify completed quote requests and telephone interactions, then connect those actions to relevant service and location pages.

Where to investigate next

The most useful follow-up would separate gate installation, fencing and automation landing pages, then compare their search visibility, engagement and qualified enquiries. Seasonality, tracking continuity and changes in local demand also need examination before assigning a cause. These are diagnostic next steps, not claims that a particular SEO intervention produced the recorded results.

HOW TO READ THESE RESULTS

Measurement context.

Analytics reviewed in Anu’s signed-in GA4 session on 11 September 2026. Both comparison periods contain 92 days. The report uses Session primary channel group (Default Channel Group).

Sessions are visits, not unique people. Key events are configured Analytics events and are not necessarily distinct enquiries or purchases. No sales or lead increase is asserted without validated event evidence.

Analytics alone does not establish tracking continuity, seasonality or which marketing work caused a change. Recommendations in this profile describe future investigation, not verified services delivered.
