A local service business with an estimate-led journey

No Leak Gutters is a family-owned gutter company based in North Port, Florida. Its website describes service across Sarasota and Charlotte Counties, including gutter installation and repair, gutter guards, soffit and fascia work, and lanai installation. The business invites visitors to request a free estimate or call to discuss their property.

For this service model, discovery is only the beginning. A prospective customer needs to recognise that the company covers their location and type of job, then find a straightforward way to make contact. This case brings together three views of that journey: organic-search traffic, engagement during those visits, and explicitly named form-submission activity in GA4.

More organic visits, with stronger engagement

Organic Search generated 169 sessions between 1 June and 31 August 2026, compared with 142 between 1 March and 31 May. That is 27 additional visits and a 19.01% increase over two equal 92-day periods. Total website sessions also increased, from 748 to 839, or 12.17%.

Engaged organic sessions grew faster than organic traffic, rising from 81 to 113—a 39.51% increase. The organic engagement rate moved from 57.04% to 66.86%, and average engagement time per session increased from 1 minute 4 seconds to 1 minute 37 seconds. Together, those measures show more recorded search visits and a larger proportion meeting GA4’s engagement criteria. They provide a useful reason to investigate which landing pages and service enquiries are behind the improvement.

The form evidence gives search a practical role

With the key-event metric specifically set to form_submission, GA4 recorded 16 occurrences during June–August. Ten were attributed to Organic Search. That gives the channel a visible contribution to recorded form activity alongside its traffic and engagement result. The event name and selected metric are shown in the original report screenshot.

The comparison period recorded zero. It would be misleading to turn that into a percentage increase in leads: the available evidence does not confirm when tracking became reliable or whether event definitions changed. Likewise, 16 occurrences need not represent 16 different people or 16 suitable jobs. The useful finding is that the report records form activity and identifies Organic Search as the source of ten of those occurrences.

A separate view of users and devices

The saved Form Submissions USA exploration provides a different perspective. It uses Active users, filtered to the United States and the exact event name form_submission. For 9 July–31 August 2026, it recorded 11 active users: nine on mobile and two on desktop. This is a user measure across all traffic sources, not an organic-only event count.

Nine of the 11 recorded users appeared in the mobile category, making the mobile estimate journey an obvious area for a focused review. With a sample this small, the appropriate response would be to inspect usability and form completion rather than assume a universal device preference. The 11 users and 16 key events describe different scopes and time ranges; combining them would create a misleading enquiry total.

Time ranges explain what can be compared

The standard traffic report supports the full June–August comparison. The saved exploration had a shorter retained history: 9 July 2026 was the earliest available date during the review. The exploration result is therefore labelled with its actual period. The unavailable part of June and early July is not treated as zero activity.

A wider traffic review covering September 2025–August 2026 showed a flat recorded history through February, with traffic appearing in March and varying thereafter. That limits the maturity of the baseline and rules out a story of uninterrupted monthly growth. The quarter result is still useful when stated directly: more organic sessions, better recorded engagement, and identifiable form-submission activity during the selected period.

The next opportunity is to connect enquiries with jobs

A practical next phase would connect form events with received enquiries, remove duplicate or test submissions, and distinguish suitable service-area requests from other contacts. That would let the business evaluate the route from search visit to estimate request and, eventually, to an accepted job. The reports reviewed here stop before those business outcomes.

On the website, a focused review could examine the mobile estimate form, how clearly service pages explain the available work, and whether location information helps customers understand coverage. These are forward-looking recommendations. The case demonstrates why useful measurement goes beyond a traffic percentage: No Leak Gutters has several consistent signals to investigate, including stronger organic engagement and named form activity, with enough detail to choose the next questions carefully.

REPORT 02The saved exploration uses Active users with Country exactly matches United States and Event name exactly matches form_submission. Its retained period starts on 9 July, so this 11-user result covers a shorter period than the quarter report. It must not be added to the 16-event total.

HOW TO READ THESE RESULTS

Measurement context.

Analytics source: the NLG Website GA4 property for No Leak Gutters, inspected on 10 September 2026. The traffic comparison uses All Users and no report filters, with the Organic Search row under Session primary channel group (Default channel group). Both quarter periods contain 92 days. The reports indicated 100% of available data.

The 16 all-source and 10 Organic Search figures use Key events with the case-sensitive event form_submission selected. These are occurrences, not verified unique people, qualified leads or completed jobs. Zero previously recorded events does not establish that the business previously received no enquiries.

Form Submissions USA uses Active users, Country exactly matches United States and Event name exactly matches form_submission. The actual retained period was 9 July–31 August 2026; June history was unavailable in that exploration. Its original Last 7 days view was restored after capture. The 11 users must not be added to the event counts.

GA4 alone does not establish marketing causation, historical tracking continuity or sales outcomes. The annual review has a limited baseline before March 2026. Recommendations in this case describe possible next work, not services claimed to have produced the recorded changes. Screenshots are genuine report captures, and business context comes from the client’s public website.
